Pastor Ben Ingelson has been part of Resurrection since it began in 2008.
He is married to Rakel, who is also a pastor and who serves at New Life Lutheran Church in Bolingbrook, and they have two kids.
For Pastor Ben and his family, church is an essential part of their lives because it is a source of God's gracious love and is a community of people striving to follow Jesus. In other words, it is a group of people committed to being shaped and moved by grace, mercy, compassion, and forgiveness.
He grew up in Moline, Illinois and now has family he loves visiting in Moline, Seattle, Colorado, and Wisconsin. He has a BA in Business Management from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago.
He has lived and worked in small towns, in large Metropolitan areas, in France, and in Cameroon and Senegal, and has been part of big churches, new churches, urban churches, and global churches.
He also serves as the Chaplain to the Channahon Police Department.
In addition to serving the church, Pastor Ben delights in family time, being with friends, and playing sports.
